OVERVIEW:
The Landscape Supervisor is responsible for the management of landscape projects and
maintenance of existing landscaping. The Landscape Supervisor shall assist with decision
making and efficient and precise completion of each project. The Landscape Supervisor is also
responsible for crew management of 2-6 people and coordination with the Landscape Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A minimum of one year experience in the landscape Supervisor or similar position
2. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record (Required)
3. Knowledge of tools, methods, and materials used in landscape maintenances and
improvement
4. Excellent organizational, leadership, and time management skills
5. Problem-solving abilities
6. Ability to follow and give oral and written directions
7. Must be able to safely operate light motorized equipment
8. Have a can-do and team-oriented attitude working in a team
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Ninety percent of the workday is spent outdoors in a golf course setting with constantly
changing weather conditions including, but not limited to: cold, heat, snow, wet, lightning and
thunderstorms. Ninety percent of the workday is spent standing, walking, and bending.
Constantly lifting, pushing, and pulling objects, weighing up to 100 pounds. Occasionally
carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Constantly handling objects and using hearing, near
and far acuity, depth perception, color, and field of vision. 10% of the time noise levels reach
75-110 decibels. Occasional exposure to fumes, odors and gases. Constant exposure to
mechanical hazards.
